Casa Lomas

Casa Lomas was a complete renovation of a conventional house roughly twenty years old. We modernised the interiors and entirely rebuilt the gallery, the kitchen, every bathroom and the tiled areas. Some of the original wooden floors were kept, to hold on to the warm, classic character of the house.

The garage became a large playroom for a family with small children, adaptable to their teenage years. The clients trusted our work completely, which let us make the most of the materials and design freely.

We also reworked the living room fireplace and added a bench clad in rough stone blocks. The great challenge was executing the whole job in barely two months, while the family was away. It was an intense, enjoyable race against the clock, with a very satisfying result.
